Richard's Take
Don't get me wrong, I had a splendid stay at Hotel India (which is less of a hotel and more of a brothel run by the Kardashian sisters), but I was surprised by the absence of flying oriental rugs, magical genie-filled lamps, and friendly little kleptomaniac monkeys.
Lack of patriotic mid-east accoutrements aside, the place does emit a very distinct and authentic odor (it's sort of like Paris Hilton: half suntan oil, half delightfully all-natural body odor). They also offer a very sensual bubble bath massage with actual water from the Ganges (it smells like very pungent curry, so you know it's the good stuff).
Make sure you get the "Special Sendoff" as well; it's a spectacular display involving all three sisters and Mama Kardashian doing very acrobatic chutney body shots, amidst Bruce and Brody Jenner doing Frisbee tricks with giant pitas.

Pacino. Brando. Beatty. Presley. Capote. Warhol. As you walk toward the ten thousand dollar per night celebrity playground, The Roosevelt Hotel, you can't help but notice scores of old Tinseltown photos adorning the walls. The very air surrounding the Roosevelt seems to breathe legends, and the monstrous room charge brings with it a chance to revel in Hollywood's hippest party pad, notorious for serious social gatherings, photo shoots, and crazy times with LiLo.
The entrance to the Roosevelt reveals a spacious living room decorated in black, white and silver. Simple yet chic, plush leather couches and fuzzy, longhaired carpets accent its black hardwood floors. A fully stocked wet bar and kitchen round out the room's many amenities.
Every room in the penthouse has a flat-screen television, streaming a 24-hour live feed of Graumann's Chinese Theater. Think movie premieres. We've all dreamt of personal butlers, but never personal paparazzi!
The second-floor bedroom seems an appropriate rendezvous for a more private gathering. Venetian plaster and leather-covered walls reveal a bed draped in a suede leopard skin duvet. Directly in front of the bed is a set of curtains divulging a glass-enclosed shower.
The third floor loft contains its own array of plush furniture and of course, a jacuzzi. A couple steps above the loft is . . . voila! The rooftop to beat all rooftops. Situated on a colossal party patio with stunning views of Hollywood you will find yourself face to face with the famous red neon "Roosevelt Hotel" sign.
Still bored atop a Hollywood legacy? Penthouse guests are always welcome to visit the million dollar David Hockney-designed pool and Tropicana Bar. Just like a scene out of "Entourage," bikinis abound. All we can say is, hooray for Hollywood.
