Beefcake Italian model Fabio was last linked to the Ferrari brand through Zoolander, Ben Stiller's 2001 cinematographic masterpiece. Fabio makes a cameo in the film's opening scene, and later on, evil villain Mugatu says, "The man has only one look, for Christ's sake! Blue Steel? Ferrari? Le Tigra? They're the same face! Doesn't anybody notice this?"
But I digress. On Saturday, April 11, Fabio decided to rent a Ferrari from World Class Driving. I assume he's going through a midlife crisis, as he turns fifty in less than a year and these days, fifty-year-olds aren't generally the most sought-after Hollywood commodities. He might be able to revitalize his career by pulling a Mickey Rourke...but, once again, I digress.
After joyriding down twisty two-lane Mulholland Drive in Woodland Hills, Fabio lost control of the rented high-performance vehicle while making a sharp turn at high speed...

Hailed as the most powerful and expensive Lamborghini ever built (and for good reason), the Lamborghini Reventon walked away with the award for World's Most Beautiful Automobile 2007 after being introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Named for the bull that killed toreador Felix Guzman in 1943 and designed to look like a jet fighter, the Reventon is basically the ultimate Murcielago in all respects, including price. Only 20 Reventons have been built and all flew off the shelves the night of the auto show.
At a top speed of 211 mph, the beast goes from 0 to 62 in 3.4 seconds, which is faster than it takes you to say Lamborghini Reventon. The epic racer boasts "completely customizable" displays, a mid-mounted 6.5-liter V12 engine that's been up-rated for 650 horsepower, and is the company's first vehicle with a g-force meter. The Lambos went for slick $1.4 million a piece, marking its status as the most expensive new vehicle to make a U... More >> ..
When it comes to the checklist of essential ingredients for a James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace doesn't disappoint in the hard-and-fast action department. As soon as the cinema lights dim, the audience is thrust into an exciting car chase in Siena, Italy in which our hero destroys yet another gorgeous automobile. This time around, it's the stunning (and stunningly expensive) Aston Martin DBS. At the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show this past week, the famous Bond car was in full view and commanded a $273,000 price tag. One anonymous Bond fan, however, paid a whopping $352,000 for the totaled Aston Martin that landed at the bottom of Italy's Lake Garda in the movie's sensational opening sequence.
Swiss automaker Rinspeed has given in to the high demand for a car and submarine hybrid. Inspired by James Bond's Lotus Espirit from the 1977 movie "The Spy Who Loved Me," the sQuba is fast, furious, and eco-friendly, too. Thirty years after the film first hit the big screen, the automobile visionary behind Rinspeed Frank Rinderknecht finally figured out a way to make the underwater beast a reality. "For three decades I have tried to imagine how it might be possible to build a car that can fly under water. Now we have made this dream come true."
Where are you going? Doesn't matter! What are you doing? Who cares? Who are you taking? Kind of important, and limited - there's only room for eight. Cruising around town in Los Angeles Exotic Limos' Lamborghini Limousine, complete with a convertible top and rear Jacuzzi, constitutes an eventful and memorable night in and of itself. Actually having a destination in mind, a.k.a. an audience to gawk at you upon your arrival, is just the icing on top.
Exotic Limos' fleet is impressive, but the stretch Lamborghini takes the cake. Expect plenty of stares when taking a spin or a dip in this flashy limo, but don't spend too much time primping for the evening - driving top down is the only way to go. The stretch Lamborghini limo offers fiber optics, a mini bar, and an appropriately bumpin' sound system.
One of Los Angeles Exotic Limos' certified (read: discreet) chauffeurs will cart you to the destination of your choice, or captain your ride to nowhere...

Last week's cocktail event at the Hermes Broad St. store was more than just a party, it was the Manhattan debut of the exquisite Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermes car. Meticulously lined with Hermes leather and branded with the house's famous "H" inside, this masterful piece of work makes the oh-so-coveted Birkin bag look like a fannie pack. I suppose it makes sense, why have one little bag when I can have a whole car full of the gorgeous leather at my fingertips?
The luxury ride certainly reaches Hermes quality: it boasts 1,001 horsepower and a dominating 16 cylinder engine; It can also reach up to 250 mph and jets from 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds, making it the fastest production car ever produced. Unlike most cars whose hot assets are either on the outside or under the hood, the Veyron's crown jewels sit right where you do: on the interior. The butter soft, ultra luxe, Italian Hermes leather is some of the finest you will ever come across... More >> ..
